The Beach Health Clinic is a not-for-profit, volunteer
driven health clinic that provides services for Virginia Beach residents
who are uninsured and who earn less than 200% of the federal poverty
level. The clinic is an independent organization with limited resources.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Patients must
not have insurance
(Medicare and Medicaid included)
• Household income
less than 200% of federal poverty level
• Resident of Virginia
Beach
• Must be between
2 and 65 years of age
MEDICAL SERVICES PROVIDED
• Medical exams
and follow-up care for chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension,
asthma and many others
• Specialty services
in cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, rheumatology, gynecology, dermatology,
pediatrics, pain management and internal medicine
• Medication assistance
for established patients
MEDICAL SERVICES NOT PROVIDED
NO injuries broken or dislocated bones, burns or lacerations
NO prescriptions for non-registered patients
NO sexually transmitted diseases
NO infectious diseases HIV, Hepatitis, etc.
NO family planning or birth control
NO immunizations
NO physicals
NO dental services
NO eye injuries
SERVICES NOT PROVIDED
NO disability or litigation
NO workman’s compensation cases
All visits are by appointment only, and new patients should be prescreened
before their initial appointment.
Prescreening is offered Monday Friday 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
